Yes Even in Marin Homes Prices have softened

In a front page San Francisco Chronicle article written on July 17th they make note of how even in affluent Marin and San Francisco Counties prices have come down and prices for existing single family homes have fallen by about 11% over the past year.

Sausalito Schools Showing Drastic Improvement

Some very impressive results for the Sausalito schools made the front page story in the Marin IJ. They chock it up to a change in adminstration which is true and I heard and suspect it’s true is that they’ve started to teach to the test. I don’t fault them for that after all isn’t that what other schools have been doing for years? and it’s hard to argue with results. Here is a link to the Sausalito School district website
